Apple Fiber Studio Gala is a plied fingering-weight yarn comprised of 75% superwash merino wool and 25% nylon, making it ideal for socks. Don't let that fool you, this yarn works up with fantastic stitch definition and is fantastic in a wide range of projects, from accessories to sweaters!

Gala's simple, machine-washable care makes it an easy choice for a wide range of items from socks to baby clothes, with a durability that doesn't sacrifice on softness. The most special aspect of Gala is that it consists of a small batch collection of yarn colors that are truly unique. In contrast to the permanent color collections found in our McIntosh and Delicious yarn bases, our lead dyer does not replicate these colors. This allows us to experiment and have fun without the restriction of a predetermined color recipe. As a result, each color is non-repeatable and so once they’re gone, they’re gone.
